Terms and conditions for Sugh Ealles public speaking courses and services

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using the services provided by Sugh Ealles ("Company," "we," "our," or "us"), you ("Student," "you," or "your") agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our services.

These Terms apply to all users of our website, course participants, and anyone who accesses or uses our services in any manner.

2. Description of Services

Sugh Ealles provides professional public speaking and communication training services, including:

  • In-person and virtual public speaking courses
  • Corporate training programs
  • Individual coaching sessions
  • Educational materials and resources
  • Online learning platforms and tools
  • Certification programs

3. Course Enrollment and Registration

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 16 years of age to enroll in our courses. If you are under 18, you must have parental or guardian consent.

3.2 Registration Process

  • Complete the enrollment form with accurate information
  • Pay required course fees
  • Agree to these Terms of Service
  • Meet any course-specific prerequisites

3.3 Course Confirmation

Course enrollment is confirmed upon payment receipt and availability. We reserve the right to cancel courses due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances beyond our control.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Course Fees

  • All course fees must be paid in full before course commencement unless payment plan arrangements are made
  • Prices are listed in Canadian dollars and include applicable taxes
  • Payment plans may be available for certain courses with pre-approval

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and corporate purchase orders. All payments are processed securely through certified payment processors.

4.3 Late Payments

Late payments may result in course access suspension or enrollment cancellation. Additional fees may apply for payment plan defaults.

5. Cancellation and Refund Policy

5.1 Student Cancellations

  • More than 14 days before course start: Full refund minus $50 CAD administrative fee
  • 7-14 days before course start: 50% refund
  • Less than 7 days before course start: No refund, but course credit for future enrollment
  • After course commencement: No refund

5.2 Company Cancellations

If we cancel a course, you will receive a full refund or course credit for a future session. We are not liable for any additional costs incurred due to course cancellation.

5.3 Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 5-10 business days to the original payment method.

6. Course Policies

6.1 Attendance

  • Regular attendance is required for course completion
  • Make-up sessions may be available for documented emergencies
  • Certificate eligibility requires minimum 80% attendance

6.2 Conduct Standards

  • Respectful behavior toward instructors and fellow students
  • Professional communication in all interactions
  • Confidentiality of personal information shared during courses
  • Prohibition of disruptive or inappropriate behavior

6.3 Technology Requirements

For virtual courses, students must have reliable internet connection, appropriate devices, and necessary software. Technical support is provided, but students are responsible for their equipment.

7. Intellectual Property

7.1 Course Materials

All course materials, including but not limited to presentations, handouts, videos, and digital content, are proprietary to Sugh Ealles and protected by copyright laws.

7.2 Usage Rights

  • Course materials are for personal use only
  • No redistribution, copying, or commercial use without written permission
  • Recording of sessions is prohibited without explicit consent

7.3 Student Work

You retain ownership of your original work created during courses, but grant us permission to use anonymous examples for educational purposes.

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

Your privacy is important to us. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms.

8.1 Course Confidentiality

Personal information and experiences shared during courses must be kept confidential. Students agree not to disclose other participants' personal information.

9. Disclaimers and Limitations

9.1 Educational Nature

Our courses are educational in nature and do not guarantee specific outcomes, career advancement, or professional success. Results depend on individual effort and application.

9.2 Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the course fees paid. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from course participation.

9.3 Force Majeure

We are not liable for delays or failures to perform due to circumstances beyond our control, including natural disasters, pandemics, or government restrictions.

10. Certification

  • Certificates are awarded upon successful course completion
  • Minimum attendance and participation requirements must be met
  • Certificates are not accredited academic credentials
  • Lost certificates can be replaced for a fee

11. Website Terms

11.1 Acceptable Use

You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. Prohibited activities include:

  • Attempting to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfering with website functionality
  • Uploading malicious content or viruses
  • Violating any applicable laws or regulations

11.2 User Content

Any content you submit through our website (reviews, comments, testimonials) becomes our property and may be used for marketing purposes.

12. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified Terms.

Material changes will be communicated to enrolled students via email or course announcements.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Ontario, Canada.

14. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
